About the Author

Ray Curry has been a practicing CPA for over twenty-five years, first in a partnership and later as a sole practitioner, where he created (and still practices in) a successful accounting firm.

While he was practicing in the 1980's, he wrote and taught a 200 hour Full Charge Accounting Program in his own state-licensed school, called the Accounting Academy. This course utilized a unique learning approach that integrated the theory with the practice of accounting. Hundreds of students graduated from the school and are still working in the field.

He also created a much shorter course which was offered to business people and others, giving them the accounting basics that they needed to successfully operate their businesses. The programs offered on this web site are a variation of these highly successful programs.
